Junior Classical League report

These reports keep coming, and are all very similar, but the point is that they keep Latin in the public eye locally. There’s a nice picture with this one.

From the Indy Star

This summer, eight Latin students from the Hamilton Southeastern and
Fishers high schools’ Junior Classical League chapter represented the
district and Indiana at the National JCL convention.

As a state,
Indiana was first in the publicity contest both by number of chapters
and percent of chapters entering. The state T-shirt, designed by FHS
senior Raquel Zacherl, placed second overall as well as third for “Best
Use of Theme” and third for “Most Creative.”

The HSE chapter placed 13th in publicity (up from 15th last year)
and second in digital scrapbooks. District chapter members who placed
in the top ten in individual competitions are as follows:
