Plan for Roman museum in Towcester

A new museum featuring Roman artefacts could be on the cards in Northamptonshire if a planning application is successful.

Towcester Museum Trust has been collecting historical items for nine years and has also applied for a £900,000 Heritage Lottery Fund grant to convert a building in White Horse Yard, Towcester.

Town councillors voted unanimously to show their support for the museum plans.
