Ancient History INSET in Coventry

This was circulated to the OCR Classics Community. I'm glad to give it further publicity.

May I draw your attention to a forthcoming INSET day for A level Ancient History organized by JACT. This will take place on Saturday 8th March at King Henry VIII School, Coventry (immediately opposite the railway station). The cost of the course is only £35 (inclusive of coffee, lunch and tea) thanks to the school offering its facilities without charge. The day will include talks on latest thinking in Greek and Roman History by various academics, a session on using ICT, and teacher-led discussion groups. Further details are available of the JACT website http://www.jact.org/ . The course should be of great interest to anyone contemplating or intending to teach any ancient historical modules from AQA CC or OCR's classics suite, and is open to all, not just members of JACT.
