TES Staffroom – a good advertisement for Classics

While on the TES site this morning, finding an answer for someone in the US who would like to teach in the UK, I looked at some of the fora there. I emphasise 'some'.

If the contributors are genuine teachers, then pity help their pupils.

I found personal abuse of third parties, unsubstantiated opinion trotted out as self-evident truth, dismissive attitudes to whole subject departments, not to mention bad spelling and worse punctuation.

When I turned to the Classics section – what a relief! There I found courtesy, helpful answers, encouragement – and perfect English.
Try it.

By the way, one or two posts were about coming to the ARLT Summer School in Durham.
